The Client Services Consultant plays an integral role in helping to increase user satisfaction and brand loyalty for a fast-growing software company.  The training specialist serves as an integral member of the professional services team – implementing the company’s training curriculum, performing on site and/or Web-based software training and process consultation, and instruct users on best practices to maximize the value of their software investment.  

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Train new users and existing clients on new functionality
  • Provide on-site consultation services for clients regarding internal accounting firm processes
  • Responsible for phone support, problem tracking, diagnosis, replicating business issues, troubleshooting, and resolution of client problems
  • Other training or client service duties as assigned
  • Travel will be required anywhere from 30 to 60 days per year

Knowledge/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
  • Two to 4 years' experience in a U.S.-based public accounting firm, with a focus in either firm administration or professional services
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate a variety of topics to a diverse audience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as Quickbooks and tax preparation software
  • Prior customer service experience in software and/or financial services industry a plus
