Quincy, Mass. – May 30, 2018 – XCM
, the leading provider of cloud-based workflow productivity enablement solutions for businesses and professionals, announced the following during their 2018 XCHANGE XCM User Conference: powerful enhancements to their XCMscheduler, along with the launch of XCMapi and XCM Analytics as a Service, a new interactive visual data analytic service offering benchmark data and insights from XCMworkflow.
“We’re upping the game on productivity and extending XCM’s utility for our customers,” said XCM CEO Mike Sabbatis.
The new XCMscheduler was designed to provide superior insight into resource capacity, availability, and expertise, while providing real-time management of personnel to deliver optimal performance. With a dynamic browser, operating system, and device-agnostic interface, they enable future-focused resource scheduling for individuals, teams, and engagements. A new heat map shows work that is scheduled, allowing users to easily assign or reassign work with drag-and-drop capabilities to more efficiently and effectively manage a team. The new calendar grid displays both staff and client schedules, along with employee availability and conflicts, work assigned, and anticipated work.
XCMapi offers an open and connected platform that provides businesses and public accounting firms greater connectivity to the multiple systems they use throughout their organizations. These API’s connect essential information such as staff, client/entity, tasks, statuses, and more through an open application programming interface. Users will be able to pull data from applications into XCMworkflow and to push data from XCMworkflow to external applications leveraging XCM’s leading business process and productivity platform while delivering broader use to customers and ease of use to professionals. “Our strategy to open the platform is a natural extension as we have a number of integrations available today,” said Sanjath Sulkunte, VP of Product Development for XCM. “This just makes it easier for our customers.”
XCM is continually looking for ways to improve productivity. With that in mind, XCM launched a new Analytics as a Service solution to provide deeper visibility into customer data, industry trends, and other analytics. XCM Analytics as a Service provides real time smart analytics with XCM’s benchmark data in a highly visualized and interactive KPI dashboard providing insights into the overall productivity of a business or public accounting firm. Standard KPI’s include reporting such as year over year comparison against a national average for those time periods and against prior year. For more complex and detailed visualizations, XCM Custom Analytics Services offers organization-specific reporting and analytics, including rich filtering, on-demand comparative analysis, and relevant task, status, and progress reporting for senior leadership and managers.
