Industry Veteran to Lead Solution Provider’s Expansion in the Public Accounting Market

Quincy, Mass. – May 23, 2016 – XCM Solutions, LLC, the leading provider of cloud-based productivity enablement solutions for the accounting profession, today announced the appointment of Marc Montpas as the company’s Vice President of Sales. Montpas brings a broad base of both technical and sales leadership expertise, as well as a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities for public accounting professionals – having worked in the industry for more than 15 years.

In this role, Montpas will be responsible for building out and leading XCM’s sales organization as the company broadens its market position in North America and expands into new markets and solution areas.

Montpas joins XCM Solutions from CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, where he leaves a long, successful track record in various sales management roles over the past 13 years. Most recently, he served as CCH’s Director of Strategic Alliances & Vertical Strategy, in which he was responsible for managing a team to build Alliances with key ERP providers such as Microsoft, SAP and NetSuite as well as developing the channel sales program with value added resellers (VAR’s). His broad accounting software industry experience extends to multiple markets and leadership roles, including Director of Sales Operations, Senior Sales Manager of Corporate Services, and Regional Software Sales Manager for the Professional Market.

Montpas started his career as a Senior Accountant at KPMG with a focus on auditing. He holds a bachelor of arts in Business Economics with an emphasis on Accounting and a Minor in Sports Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

In 2015 XCM executed a number of initiatives designed to expand its market position and enhance the company’s world class productivity enablement solutions for accounting professionals in CPA firms and corporations. This appointment well positions the company to execute on its growth strategy and continue its commitment to deliver innovative solutions to tax, accounting and finance professionals across markets.
